Walter Wiley "Bobby" Greer, 66, of McComb, died July 26, 2010, at the McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Catchings Funeral Home and continues 8 a.m. Thursday until services there at 10. The Rev. Larkin Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Mr. Greer was born May 3, 1944, in McComb, to Fred and Jimmie Thomas Greer. He worked 28 years for Kellwood Co. and was a member of New Heights Baptist Church in Summit.

Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Fredine Greer.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo May Greer of McComb; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Jennifer Greer of Batesville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lee Ann and Dale Cunningham of McComb; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Winston and Patsy Greer of Denham Springs, La., and Larry and Tim Greer, both of McComb; a sister, Shelly Spires, of McComb; a grandson, Adam Keene, and great-grandson, Austin Keene, both of McComb.
