Mr. Zachary "Zakk" Laroux Alexander, 31, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Columbia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Columbia, MS.

Zakk was born in McComb, MS on February 26, 1989 and was the son of Marla Lorraine Hartzog. He was very artistic and could draw very well.  Music was his passion. He loved listening to music, playing music and making music. He was an incredible musician and played guitar and sang all around. He loved to skateboard and was great at it. He was a very selfless man and loved to make people smile. He was very smart and very eager to learn new things. He loved to play video games and met many friends from all over by doing that. He was respectful, fearless, determined and extremely strong willed. He had a great sense of humor. He was a loving son, brother, father and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, Felder and Maxine Hartzog.

He is survived by one son, Gavin Alexander of Summit, MS; one brother, Jade Nations of Summit, MS; two close friends, Steven Richison and David Gentry and countless other friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
