Mr. William Michael Lea III ,75 of Summit Ms. passed from this life on Feburary 21, 2024 , at Southwest Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 8, 1948  in McComb MS, to Madeyln Lea and William Michael Lea.

Michael Lea  in the 70's and 80's  was well known to a wide audience of fans as Dr. Dan a local New Orleans celebrity disc jockey! His young, vibrant playful  personality made him great as he was! He would show up to major local events representing his radio station WRNO with announcements for upcoming events for his station, and introducing famous rock bands! After radio he went on to pursue a career in advertising, writing, producing, and directing film adds! He assisted many well known companies in the city to their success in business! His soft heart for animals made you know what kind of person you were in the company of! If you were his friend, it's a good chance it would be for a lifetime! He will be missed by many he's leaving behind, but he knows in his business, no matter what happens, the show, and party must go on!  We are all celebrating you!
