Mr. William "Bill" Burris, 70, of Summit, MS passed away on July 28, 2024 at his residence. He was born on January 17, 1954 to Wilma Thornton and Edwin Burris.

Bill was a lifelong farmer and local business owner. He loved spending time with his kids and family.

He is preceded in his death by his father and mother and is survived by his son Bert Burris and wife Anna Burris, by his son Jake Burris and wife Cailtin Burris, 4 grandchildren Will Burris, Dylan Burris, Emma Burris and Ellie Boyte.

A private service will be held with the family in the days to come.
