Mrs. Wilda Rhodus, 97 of Magnolia Mississippi passed from this life on September 10, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 31, 1927, in Magnolia, MS.

She enjoyed flowers, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward E (Gene) Rhodus; parents, Laney and Lois Ellzey Pope; brothers, Hansford Pope, Clayton Pope, Everett Pope, Nelson Pope; sisters, Eleanor Simmons, Zelma Roberts and Maxine Boyd.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Michael Rhodus (Melissa), Bobby Rhodus (Janet), and Barry Rhodus (Debbie), grandchildren, Michael Rhodus Jr (Amy), Lee Rhodus (Betsy), Jessica Moore (Brad), Devan Patano (Adam), Chris Rhodus (Tori), Todd Rhodus (Emily), Tara Jenkins and Luke Rhodus (Julie), 16 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Michael Rhodus Jr., Lee Rhodus, Chris Rhodus, Todd Rhodus, Luke Rhodus and Gary "Peanut" Boyd.

Graveside services for Mrs. Wilda Rhodus will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Osyka, MS. Dr. David Millican will officiate with Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
