Mr. Wayne Dale McKenzie, 66, of Brookhaven, MS, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS.

Mr. Wayne was born in McComb, MS on August 3, 1954 and was the son of Willie Ara McKenzie and Louise Boutwell McKenzie. He lived in the Lincoln Residential Nursing Center in Brookhaven, MS where he was well known and loved all the nurses and called them his friends. He enjoyed going to the workshops they had for the residents. He was a loving son, brother and friend. He came from a large family of brothers and sisters and enjoyed when one of them would come and take him riding. He also loved going to their family reunions every year. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Alton Ray McKenzie, Marvin McKenzie, Bobby McKenzie and Davis McKenzie and two sisters, Pauline McDaniel and Helen Jackson.

He is survived by four brothers, Willie Earl McKenzie of Fairhope, AL, Willard McKenzie and Melba of McComb, MS, Charles McKenzie and Linda of Baker, LA and Bill McKenzie and Patricia of Natchez, MS; one sister Myrtle McKlemurry of McComb, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 3PM until time of service at 4PM with Bro. Trent Bilbo officiating. A burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery.
