Mr. Wallace Hiram Rhodus, 77, of Osyka, Mississippi, passed away on January 23, 2021 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS as the result of health issues.

Wallace was born on October 13, 1944 to Emmit and Okla Rhodus in Magnolia, Mississippi. After graduating from South Pike High School in 1963 he joined the United States Army in 1966 and served our country until 1971. He went on to become a machinist/millwright at Dresser Rand and retired in 2009. He was a member of Mr. Zion Church in Osyka, MS. Wallace spent his life loving and spending time with his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmit Rhodus and Okla Rhodus Seab; brothers, Rodney Rhodus and Leroy Wilson and a son Robert W. Rhodus.

Wallace was survived by his children, Levi Rhodus and wife Denise, Laci Hunter and husband Jacob, Tammie Pogue and husband Billy, and Brandye Jagneaux.  Grandchildren are Heather Rhodus, Krystal Jordan, Taylor Peavy, Cameron Bloomfield, Blake Pogue, Jakob Rhodus, Amber Jagneaux, Zack Jagneaux, Avery Rhodus, Colby Rhodus, Tiffanii Hunter, Elena Rhodus, and Channing Hunter.

Pallbearers are, Levi Rhodus, Stephen Rhodus, Greg Rhodus, Jacob Hunter, Jakob Rhodus and Billy Pogue.

Visitation will be at Sharkey Funeral Home on Saturday January 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at a later date.
