Virginia "Jenny" Freeman, 64, of McComb, MS passed away after her fight with cancer March 6, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.

It would be wrong to say that Jenny lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Jenny stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Jenny. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight

Jenny is survived by her husband Jimmy; two daughters, Jennifer Temple (Ryan) and Liz Kerwin (Ryan); her parents, Ken and Marylin Burchfield; and two brothers, Kenny Burchfield (Kitti) and Kevin Burchfield; two grandchildren, Jordan and Nicholas Temple, as well as several nieces, nephews, family, friends, and fur-babies.

Pallbearers will be Eric Schilling, Robert Phelps, Joseph Coon, Kipper Breckenridge, Marty Thweatt, Logan Finch.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 9,2022 at Navilla Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 PM until time of graveside service at 3:00 PM. Bro. Jeffrey Conn will be officiating with Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
