Troy A. Hernandez, 49, of Summit passed away March 18, 2018 in Covington, LA. He was born December 4, 1968 in New Orleans. He was the son of Clifford B. and Marilyn Satches Hernandez. He was of the catholic faith and attended Trinity Unity Church in McComb. He was a graduate of St. Charles Catholic School in LaPlace and attended Southwest Mississippi Community College. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his parents, Clifford B. and Marilyn Hernandez of Summit; three daughters, Krystal Brooke Hernandez and Hope Elise Hernandez of Waveland, MS and Destiny Faith Hernandez of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Christopher Hernandez of Bay St. Louis, MS and Kirk Hernandez and wife, Anna of Kenner, LA, two sisters, Cynthia Johnston of Alexandria, LA and Rose Marie Whitehead of Harahan, LA; two grandchildren, Conner Michael Anthony Harrison and Lilith Kristen Brandt.

Visitation is Monday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 509 Delaware Ave, McComb, MS 39648 from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Father Brian Kaskie and Bro. Jeffrey Conn officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery under the direction of Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit.
