Toy Alexander Buie of Summit, MS passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the McComb Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in McComb, MS. She was born Thursday, May 13, 1948 to Cecil Ellis Alexander and Minnie Lee Alexander.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 9:00 A M until services at 11:00 A M at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Bro. Eric Moak will officiate.

To know her was to love  her. She loved life but she loved nothing better than her children, grandchild and Boogie. She loved to gather with family and friends and to eat good food.

She was preceded in death by her husband Smittie Buie, Sr.; son, Gregory Johnson; her parents, Ellis and Minnie Lee Alexander; her brothers, Jimmy, Talmadge, LT, Paul, John and Arthur Alexander and Boogie.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kaye Johnson of Summit, MS, grandchild, Scott Johnson of Magnolia, brother, Earl Alexander and his wife Nelly of College Station, TX; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives, one special friend, Paula Griffin and one special cousin, Montee Bowman.
