Mrs. Tonya Renee Jones Westmoreland, 54, of Summit, MS, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Tonya was born in Hammond, LA on October 6, 1968 and was the daughter of Johnny Jones and Donna Wunstel Jones. She attended Pine Grove Pentecostal Church for many years where she loved being a part of her church family and made many friends who were like family to her. She loved her husband and daughter more than anything and she was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a craftswoman and loved to take on different and new crafts. She was known for some of her many projects, such as, refinishing furniture, and recreated kid's clothes. She loved to give away things that she made to other people and see them smile. She just had a heart for people and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, and her grandparents, Mario and Estelle Cucchiara, and Robert and Catherine Jones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Eddie Westmoreland of Summit, MS; her daughter, Brooklyn Westmoreland of Summit, MS; her mother, Donna Jones and Harold of Springfield, LA; one brother, Johnny Jones, Jr. of Tickfaw, LA; one sister, Kim Prather and Raford of Brookhaven, MS; one sister-in-law, Teresa Dugas of St. Francisville, LA; three nephews, Austin Prather, Bryce Jones, and Brandt Jones; one niece, Ashtan Prather, and other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Shelby White, David Jones, Chris Oliver, Will Jones,  Jerry Wallace and Stephen Pepper.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 11AM until time of service at 2PM at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Summit, MS with Rev. R.H. Johnson and Rev. Joshua Johnson officiating, and Sharkey Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.
