Obituary

Tommy Edgar Campbell, Sr., 79 of the Enon community in Walthall County passed away, Saturday, February 9, 2019.

He was born June 25, 1939 in Runnelstown, MS, the son of Dewey and Versa Sanford Campbell.

Tommy was retired regional manager of Southern Natural/UGPL. He was a longtime member of Enon Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served on the cemetery committee, sang in the choir and he served at Delcambre Mission Baptist Church, Delcambre, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Lynn Campbell.

He is survived by his wife 62 years, Ann Huhn Campbell of the Enon community; his daughter and son-n-law, Dee Dee and Jerry Boyd of the Enon community; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie Campbell and Lisa Campbell and Jeff Campbell and Kristi Campbell, all of Baton Rouge; his brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Becky Campbell of the Enon community; seven grandchildren and spouses, Robyn and Jason Pugh, Jennifer and Ricky Allen, Blake and Brandi Campbell, Ben and Stacey Boyd, Josh and Emily Boyd, Lyndsey Campbell and Mary Ashton Campbell; nine great-grandchildren, Kerra Hastings, Jacob and Cody Allen, Alexander and Ethan Pugh, Caden and Kynlee Boyd, Paxton and Presley Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Enon Baptist Church from 9AM until services at 11AM with Bro. Ben Boyd and Bro. David Hedden officiating. Burial will follow in Enon cemetery under the direction of Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit.

Pallbearers are Jerry Boyd, Josh Boyd, Blake Campbell, Ricky Allen, Jason Pugh, Kevin Coon, Bankie Freeman and Carl Shephard. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Campbell, Louie Huhn, Julius Huhn, Rickey Shows, Deacons of Enon Baptist Church and former United Gas/SONAT co-workers.
