Tommie Sumrall Beck, 92 of Magnolia, MS passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the Aston Court Retirement Community in McComb, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, December 3, 1932 in Landrum, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia United Methodist Church in Magnolia, MS. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS. Bro. Danny Speed and Rev. Lynn Mote will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, highlighting the importance of family in her life. She was well-known and loved within her community. She dedicated 57 years of her life to the Magnolia Clinic, indicating a strong commitment to her work and community. She had a love for nature, expressed through her flower garden and bird baths. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting in her earlier years. She enjoyed cooking and could make delicious meals from simple ingredients.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Beck; father, Robert Sumrall; mother, Eavy Landrum Sumrall; brother, Robert Sumrall; sisters, Ouida Sumrall Todd and Pansy Sumrall Bankston.

Survivors include her daughter, Lesa Lee Beck of Magnolia; grandchildren, Sarah Anne Kuhnert Brewer and Nathan Beck Kuhnert; brother, Glenn Sumrall; great grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas Yates and Caleb Raymond Kuhnert.

Pallbearers will be Tom Bankston, Chris Sumrall, Joe Cornacchione, Luke Lampton, Stacey Saucier, and Jeremy Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Frye and Lem Mitchell.

The family would like to express a very deep hearted "Thank You" to the staff at Beacham Memorial Hospital, Aston Court Retirement Community and Hospice Compassus for taking care of Ms. Tommie.
