Mrs. Tillie Mancuso Felder, 87, of McComb, MS passed from this life on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 28, 1935 in Pike County, MS, to Virgil N. Mancuso and Dorothy Oleta Brown Mancuso.
She enjoyed her time working in the medical field and as a nurse and caregiver. She began her career as an office manager and returned to school to receive her nursing degree. She was loving and selfless with her family and patients, always putting others first. Hunting, fishing, and growing things in her garden were among her favorite things. The oldest of eleven children, she was a loving sister, Mother, and "Grandma T."
Tillie is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Joe Felder; three brothers, William "Bill" P. Mancuso, James "Jimmy" Mancuso, and Richard "Bubba" Lee Mancuso; and a nephew, Daniel Lee Williams.
She is survived by her two daughters, Helen Felder Johnson and Marianne Felder Cruse; one sons, J.C. Felder, III; one daughter-in-law, Tammy Self Felder; one brother, Nic Mancuso (Shari); six sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Coleman, Penny Brown, Alice Walters, Louise Smith, Rosie Moak, and Grace Dickerson (Barry); eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11AM until time of memorial service at 12PM at Felder's United Methodist Church in Summit, MS with Rev. Barry Dickerson and Rev. Danny Speed officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A memorial burial will be held in the Felder's Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
