Mr. Thomas Michael Sims, 60, of Summit, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Copiah County Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 8, 1957 in Jackson, MS, to Everett Sims and Dorothy Pugh Sims. He enjoyed corny jokes, hunting, and fishing. He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss play football. Preceding him in death was his brother, Randy Sims. Survivors are his father, Everett Sims; his mother, Dorothy Sims; his brothers, Robbie Sims and Tony Sims; his sister, Debby Landry; his daughters, Laurel Sims, Sarah Mendez, and Katelynn Sims; sons, Thomas Sims and Paul Sims; grandchildren, Jade Mendez, Sindel Mendez, Petra Mendez, Killian Anishenko, Zucian Harris and a host of family and friends.
