Thelma Cockerham Simmons went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ February 1, 2019.

She was born October 19, 1932 in Magnolia, MS.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Audrey Cockerham, husband Billy and sister Jewel Pearl Freeman.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Kathy and son-in-love Randy Summers, granddaughter Katie and grandson-in-love Phinehas Rikard, grandson Zach Summers, sisters Gordean Coulter and Edrie Tynes, special friend Jo Nell Myers and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Thelma retired from South Central Bell and attended Central Baptist Church in McComb before moving to Harrison, TN to be with her family.

Visitation will be at Sharkey Funeral Home Monday, Feb 4 from 9:00AM until 11AM. Graveside service will be at Hollywood Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
