Terry was born on October 9, 1949 in Pennsboro, West Virginia. His sense of humor made him the family jokester. As a talented woodworker, Terry made priceless memories teaching his grandchildren how to build chairs and other pieces of furniture. He enjoyed fishing, and football season was always filled with loud cheers for his West Virginia Mountaineers and New Orleans Saints. But most importantly, Terry was a devoted follower of Jesus. He was a member of The Well, a dedicated prayer warrior, and a passionate witness for the Lord. He was never ashamed to speak openly about his faith in a redeeming God.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Sinsel "Duke" Satterfield; his Mother, Florence Margaret Eddy Satterfield; two Brothers, Paul "Doug" Satterfield, Rodney Lynn Satterfield; and one Sister, Connie Lou Hurst.
He is survived by his Wife of fifty-two years, Wendy Marie Diamond Satterfield of McComb, MS; his two Sons, Keith Ryan Satterfield (Jessica), of Tylertown, Jeremy Ray Satterfield, of McComb; his Daughter, Heather Lee Satterfield, of Alexandria, Virginia; seven Grandchildren, Lance Michael Satterfield (Rowan), Kenneth Ryan Satterfield, Whitney Hope Satterfield Ming (Christian), all of Tylertown; two Brothers, Roger Allen Satterfield, David John Satterfield, both of Pennsboro, West Virginia; three Great Grandchildren, Raven Katrina Satterfield, John Waylon Ming; and four Sisters, Ruth Margaret Collins, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Betty Jo Boley, of Harrisville, West Virginia, Diana Kay Freeland, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Barbara Ann Hite, of Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Keith Satterfield, Jeremy Satterfield, Lance Satterfield, Kenneth Satterfield, Christian Ming, and David Paul Diamond. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Reyes and Bryan Williams, Sr.
