Conchetta Priscilla "Teny" Tuminello, 96, passed away, September 30, in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Teny was born, October 31, 1926, in McComb, Mississippi, to Joseph and Conchetta "Irene" Culotta Tuminello.

She was a 1944 graduate of McComb High School. She worked for F.W. Woolworth & Co. for 28 years from 1944-1972, where she became one of the company's first female managers. Following her retirement from Woolworth's, she worked for 17 years as an operational officer for Deposit Guaranty National Bank before retiring in 1989. She was a lifelong resident of McComb and a loyal member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Teny was especially grateful to have had the opportunity to travel with family to Italy and to her mother's hometown of Cefalu, Sicily. During her times there, she was able to visit many important places from her mother's early life and spend time with treasured extended family, including attending a family wedding.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law Frances Tuminello Boyt and Wilbur Boyt; her brother and sister-in-law Camile Joseph "Buddy" Tuminello and Lucille Tuminello; brother-in-law E.C. Spence; nephews Joseph Owen Boyt and James Prentiss Boyt; and nephew-in-law Todd Fruge.

Teny is survived by one sister, Gertrude Tuminello Spence, of Arlington, Tennessee; nieces and nephews Beverly Spence Shively (Chris) of Lebanon, Tennessee, Ted W. Spence (Pat) of Arlington, Tennessee, Donna Spence Thron (Mike) of Memphis, Tennessee, Anita Spence of Arlington, Tennessee, Julie Tuminello Guidry (John) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Susan Tuminello Fruge of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Michael Tuminello (Lana) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and niece-in-law Lynn Boyt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 18 great-nieces and nephews, 30 great-great nieces and nephews and seven God children; as well as cousins and others, young and old, who affectionately called her "Aunt Teny". She was also blessed over the years with many special friends in McComb and at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church who were always there for her in good times and times of need. A special thanks to Andy and Gail Spinnato for all their help.

Honor Guard and Pallbearers will be the local Knights of Columbus. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews and great-nephews.
