Mr. Stephan "Steve" "PopPop" Craig Larson, 67, of Smithdale, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Steve was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on September 5, 1955 and was the son of Norman Larson and Isabella O'Donnell Larson. Steve was a loving husband, father, brother and Pop Pop. He enjoyed building and making things. He loved family get-togethers and holidays because he was surrounded by family, laughter and food. He was known for his Skelped Corn, which he made every Holiday. His Faithful Companion Jake will miss him as we will.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Mike Larson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cindy Allred Larson of Smithdale, MS; one son, Eric Larson and Kelli of Cartersville, GA; two Step-sons, Jeremy Hughes of Liberty, MS, and Shane Hughes of Summit, MS; one step-daughter, Kim Hodges of Smithdale, MS; two brothers, Brian Larson and Beth, and Dennis Larson and Donna; one sister-in-law, Pam Larson; three brothers-in-law, Stan Allred and Nina, David Allred, and Doug Touchstone; four grandchildren, Garrett Larson, Michael Hodges, Ashton Hughes, and Maddox Hughes,  and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A celebration of life visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1PM until time of Celebration of life service at 2PM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS.
