Stacy Suzanne
Wells
February 1, 1974 – April 21, 2025
Our precious Stacy Suzanne Wells, age 51, of McComb, Mississippi, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 21, 2025. She was born February 1, 1974 in McComb, MS. We take comfort knowing she is completely healed, celebrating with her Lord and loved ones.
Please join us in celebrating Stacy's life on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at New Heights Baptist Church in Summit, MS, with public visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Bro. Rick Kennedy and Dr. Jim Futral will officiate.
She is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Tommy and Phyllis Brown Wells of McComb, MS; her brother's family, Chris (Emily) Wells and their children Jackson, Finn, and Avery of Summit, MS; her sister's family, Kimberly (Guy) Reedy and their children Kailee, Lauren (Logan) Wilson, and Mallory of Brandon, MS; her aunts, Cindy Brown of Birmingham, AL, and Cathy Wells of Clinton, MS; and uncle, Jay (Cyndi) Wells of Long Beach, MS; many cousins and friends. Stacy was a member of New Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Grace Brown, James H. and Thelma Wells, Uncles Ronnie and Danny Wells, and Larry Brown.
Stacy was deeply loved by her family and friends, from her loyal church family to her cherished friends at Camp Sunshine. She loved attending Camp Sunshine, where she was sure to meet a "new boyfriend" and dear friends who helped her sing, dance, play games, and create art. She greeted familiar faces by shouting their names, Stacy's way of showing her excitement when reunited with friends and family. Known for her infectious laugh, Stacy loved to clap and sing, lighting up every room she entered. Her years at McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center were no exception. One of her favorite pastimes was watching Family Feud , where she would holler, cheer, and laugh at Steve Harvey, inviting workers to join in on her fun.
Our family would like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to those from McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center Intensive Care Unit who loved and cared for Stacy.
Stacy's life was a beautiful example of unconditional love, joy, and kindness. She touched countless lives with her radiant and lively personality and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We are assured in scripture that she, being a child at heart in more ways than one, is with Jesus. For He said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these . Luke 18:16.
