Mrs. Shirley Mae Easley, 86, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at her residence in Magnolia, MS. She was born on March 18, 1931, in Pike County, MS, to Arie and Ruth Ellzey Rimes. She was a member of Terry's Creek Baptist Church in Magnolia, MS. She worked for many years with her husband on their dairy farm. She enjoyed ceramics and working in her flower garden. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Preceding her in death were her parents, Arie and Ruth Ellzey Rimes; grandson, Jed Easley; 2 sisters; and 1 brother. Survivors are her husband of 63 years, Clarence Easley; sons, Johnnie Easley of Magnolia, MS, Stanley Easley and fiancé Melanie of Magnolia, MS, and Bud Easley and wife Crystal of Magnolia, MS; daughter, Renee Easley of Laurel, MS; grandchildren, Chad, Kelly, Marlie, Alexandre, Jessie, Rachell and Rebecca; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Nelda Burch; brothers, George Rimes and Claude Rimes; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be at Terry's Creek Baptist Church, Magnolia, MS, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 9:30 AM until the services at 11AM with Dr. David Millican and Rev. Lavern Summerlin officiating. The graveside service will follow in the Terry's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers are Bo Rimes, Benny Rimes, Kelly Wayne Easley, Triston Dearman, Joseph Populis and Todd Easley.
