Rouggie Boyd, 73 of Summit, MS passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at his residence in Summit, MS. He was born Monday, November 27, 1950 in Lawrence County, Mississippi, to the late Robert William Boyd and Vera Mae Dunaway Boyd.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery in Jayess, Mississippi.

Rouggie is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Oakley Clark, Jr.; two sisters, Katie Sue Clark Newton and Lola Mae Boyd.

He is survived by his brother, Billy Clark (Pat); two sisters, Luna Steele (Dwayne) and Louise Tullos (Wayne); a very special nephew, Adrian Garcia, and a host of other nephews, nieces, and relatives. He is also leaving behind his fur babies, Charlie and Rascal.
