Ronald Lee (Ronnie) Reeves, 72, of McComb, MS passed away on February 18, 2018 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS following a lengthy illness. Ronnie was born July 22, 1945 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Boyd M. and Mary Alma Boyd Reeves. He was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale, MS. Ronnie worked as a Carman for Illinois Central Railroad for 18 years. He then worked for MS Department of Transportation for 23 years before retiring. He was most importantly, a loving husband, son, brother and uncle. He also was a dedicated basketball and baseball coach for The Summit Rotary Basketball League, Summit Baseball League and McComb Babe Ruth Baseball League for 25 years. He was passionate about fishing and playing golf. He was a devoted uncle that supported his nieces and nephews in all of their endeavors. He rarely missed a game. He was a shining example of a Godly man and husband. He loved his wife with all of his heart. He will be greatly missed by all of those who love him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Mary Alma Reeves, his brother and sister-in-law, Kirby and Marilyn Reeves, and his niece, Sonya Reeves.

He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Hazel McCullough Reeves, his brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Jane Reeves, his nephew, Keith Reeves and his spouse, Alisha Love Reeves, his nieces, Amy Reeves Halstead, Marianna Reeves and Simone Reeves. His great-nieces and nephews, Sierra , Braden & Drew Halstead, Blaine & Hadley Reeves, Emma Sandifer, JJ, Bryce & Finley Reeves. His sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lyvone & Harold Breeland, Tera McCullough, Calvin & Renea McCullough, James McCullough, Herbert McCullough and their extended McCullough Family. Also, survived by his special friend, James Clark, and Mr. Reeves' adopted granddaughter, Rebecca Myers.

Pallbearers will be Keith Reeves, Braden Halstead, Drew Halstead, Herbert McCullough, Jr., Laney McCullough and Mac McCullough. Honorary pallbearer is Blaine Reeves.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20 from 5-7 at Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale, MS. Wednesday, February 21, visitation will begin at 10 am with the funeral service following at 11 am. Rev. Mike Burns will officiate. Burial will be following the service at Hollywood Cemetery.
