Ronald Harold Kraft, 71, of McComb, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Southwest MS Regional Medical Center.

He was born in McComb, MS, October 22, 1947, to Harold O. Kraft and Ruth Clark Kraft.Mr. Kraft loved his wife, Susan. They loved to be together, especially with family. He would be described as a Christian man, husband, father and grandfather, who loved the Lord. He loved helping people, giving whatever he had to those in need. He served as a deacon of Central Baptist Church, as well as a prayer warrior for the Church and the community. He worked as a conductor for 15 years with ICRR and 16 years with Amtrak.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of nearly 50 years, Susan Kraft, and one sister, Judy Wolfe.

He is survived by one son, Richard Porter Kraft; a daughter, Mary Adair Kraft Byrd; a son-in-law, Dr. Mark Byrd; one daughter-in-law, Jenni Dunaway Kraft; four grandchildren, Anna Kristine Byrd, Allison Brooke Byrd, Campbell Grace Kraft and Ballard Rose Kraft, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2018, at Sharkey Funeral Home, in Summit, MS, from 1:30 until services at 3:30, with Dr. David Millican officiating. Burial will take place at Hollywood Cemetery.
