Mr. Robert Curtis Russell, 47, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Monday, October 12, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 27, 1978, in McComb, MS to Donnie Russell and Mary Louise Martin.

A visitation will be held at Sharkey Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Jerry Gressett officiating. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Robert was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved watching church on TV, working with his hands, and fixing just about anything that needed fixing. Family meant everything to him, and there was nothing better than a home-cooked meal shared around the table with the people he loved most. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and collecting antiques. Above all, he was incredibly proud of his children and the family he helped build. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for his family, and the many memories he leaves behind.

He is survived by his father, Donnie Russell (June); mother, Louise Martin (Randy); wife, Misty Louise Russell; sons, Christopher Wallace (Angelina), Conner Wallace (Faith) and Elijah Curtis Russell Jr.; daughter, Allison Renee Russell; sisters, Rachel Calhoun (Matt), Amy Russell (Robert Whittington), one grandson, Prestyn Wallace and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
