It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Eugene Burkhalter, 72, of Magnolia, MS on January 20th, 2026.

Born August 15, 1953, to Maurice and Helen Cutrer Burkhalter, Ralph was a beloved family member, friend, and community member whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and the love and smiles he shared with all who knew him.  Visitation will be held at Sharkey Funeral home on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Bro. Rick Kennedy will officiate. A private burial will be at Burkhalter Cemetery in Magnolia, MS on Monday, January 26, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Hazel, and brother David. He is survived by his brothers Don (wife Bobbe, daughters Stephanie and Bailey) and Jerry (wife Shawn, daughters Bethany and Megan), aunt Lucy Cutrer Givens, three grandnephews, and numerous cousins.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice of McComb and requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his name to Disability Rights Mississippi (5 Old River Place - Suite 101, Jackson MS, 39202) or any charity that serves those with disabilities.
