Rachel Eunice Harrell, 64 of Osyka, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at her residence. She was born Tuesday, December 22, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit. Burial will follow at Line Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Kentwood, Louisiana. Jeremy Stewart and Bro. Ricky Lee will officiate.

Rachel was a Media Church Member of Jimmy Swaggert Ministries. She was a longtime resident of Pike County. She worked for over thirty years as a welder. For twenty plus years she devoted her life to the Amite and Pike County Volunteer Fire Department as a First Responder, where she was a vital member of their search and rescue team. Rachel loved her three bloodhounds, Sugar Bear, Flash, and Pee Wee.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Robert Lane Harrell, Sr. and Claudia Mae McCallister Harrell; and one Brother, Robert Lane Harrell, Jr.

She is survived by her Son, Jeremy Stewart (Kortney), of Osyka; one Brother, Hansel Harrell (Debbie), of Killian, Louisiana; and five Grandchildren, Nickolas Stewart, Bradley Stewart, Brook Stewart, Ella Pigron and Evelyn Cormier.

Pallbearers will be Barry McKenzie, Garry McKenzie, Randy McKenzie, Brian Mullins, Robert Troutman and Kerry O'Quinn.
