N.D. Givens, 81, of Magnolia, passed away, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his residence.

He was born August 19, 1937 in Brookhaven.  He was the son of Rev. Walter Givens, Sr. and Willie D. Sutton Givens.

Mr. Givens retired after 25 years as a Control Room Operator with Diamond M. Offshore Drilling.  He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of McComb.  He loved to play the guitar, carpentry wood working and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J.C. Givens.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hulene Travis Givens of Magnolia; his son, Dwayne Givens of Magnolia; his daughter-in-law, Diane Givens of Picayune; his daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Ronnie Keene of Magnolia; granddaughter, Megan Givens of Picayune, grandson, Brennet Givens of Picayune; granddaughter, Victoria Boyd and husband, Anthony of McComb; great-grandson, Kye Boyd of McComb; great-grandson, Benjamin Givens of Picayune; two brothers, Walter Collins Givens, Jr. of Magnolia and L.H. Givens of Monticello.

Visitation is Monday, April 22, 2019 from 5PM until 8PM at Sharkey Funeral Home, 1023 Old Brookhaven Road, Summit, MS.  Visitation continues Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church of McComb from 12PM until services at 2PM.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brennet Givens, Ricky Givens, David Travis, Anthony Boyd, Allen Travis and Brandon Travis.
