Nannette Dawn
Miller
January 26, 1957 – October 11, 2022
Nannette Dawn Miller passed away at her home in McComb, MS Oct 11 th 2022 after a sudden and a very brief battle with cancer. Thank GOD for granting her peace amongst her pain and suffering.
Nannette was born Jan 26 th , 1957, in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai, Idaho which she dearly loved. Her parents were Vern Willis McConnell and Alicemarie Foss and had 3 sisters Suzette, Amy and Christa. She was abused horribly as a child by her stepfather and did everything in her power to make sure the chain of abuse was broken. She spent her time and money trying to save as many people as she could… especially children. She wrote a wonderful and heartfelt musical program called 'The War at Home'. She wrote dozens and dozens of songs from science songs to teach children to touching emotional songs to stories and poems.
She married Randall Threlfall in 1974 but they divorced 12 years later but not before she gave birth to Jeremy Threlfall (Cleia) and Jeriah Threlfall (Tammy and kids Vincent, Archie, Preston and Vella). She then married Edward Miller Sr in 1989 and she gave birth to her baby boy Edward Miller Jr (Hailey). These three dynamite sons have grown to be true forces of her incredible and ever powerful values. She taught them to never forget who they are, Son's of GOD and to always build upon showing love to all, to serve all, to help all, to give to all in need, and to be a hero for those that need one, especially when they don't ask for it.But that was no way near the number that she took under her wins through her 65 years on this earth. She took in foster kids both officially through the state, and unofficially if they just needed a safe place. These were often rough kids who were suffering abuse. They stole from her, got in fights, and caused all sorts of problems… but she just loved them because she knew what they were going through. One such adopted son that lives nearby is Jason Coburn (Taylor and kids Derrick and Aspen)
She taught us all how to be friends with everyone and to never judge a book by its cover. She was strong willed and determined to point and what she knew or wanted, that is what happened, or else. She was an amazingly strong person and would move literal mountains for anyone who needed anything. She was fiercely protective and loyal to all she knew and anyone she met that needed a hero to fight the fight. She was so creative and loved to decorate for church programs, parties, weddings, vacation bible school, and really anything that she could add a beautiful touch of love and caring, and it always made wonderful memories for all who were involved.
It was a true blessing to experience and watch her work over the years. To see those lives she touched and will continue to touch by the love, example and effort she shared everywhere she went and everyone she met.She will be dearly missed by all that had the opportunity to meet her and those that knew her, know how much she loved her Heavenly Father and her Savior Jesus Christ.
GOD Bless you our Sister, Wife, Mother, Aunt, Cousin, Grandma and Friend.
God be with you. Until we meet again.
