Oliver Fremonce "Monty" McKinley, born April 18, 1952 in McComb, went peacefully home to be with our Lord on the 29 ^th of March 2019 at their home in Summit which he and his loving wife of 39 years, Susan Dianne Kehtel McKinley built together.

All of Monty's life, the outdoors drew him, beginning at a young age, his abilities grew to a lifelong love of hunting, fishing, archery, trapping and camping.   His love for everything outdoors strengthened his love for our Lord Jesus Christ and all God's creations.

Those that preceded him in death are his parents, Edwin Fremonce and Nancy Marie Blailock McKinley; his paternal grandparents, Joe D. and Ezor Edwina Broutin McKinley and his maternal grandparents, Franklin Penn and Aletha Bass Blailock.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife; his sons, Howard F. "Mac" McKinley (Rachael) and grandson, Mac Dayton McKinley; Michael Joseph McKinley (Ginger) and grandchildren, Joseph "Joey" Alan and Abigail "Abby" Rose McKinley;  Matthew Benjamin "Ben" McKinley (Shannon) and grandchildren, Nathan "Nate" Elliott and Katelyn Marie McKinley; his sister, Tanya Lynn McKinley Simmons and her children, Colita (David) Ogletree and Preston Simmons (Tammie) and their children, Alex, Cole and Skylar Simmons as well as numerous relatives.

Visitation is Tuesday at Sharkey Funeral Home, 1023 Old Brookhaven Road, Summit, MS  39666 from 4PM until 8PM and Wednesday from 9AM until services at 11AM with Bro. Vann Windom and Bro. Rob Britt officiating.  Burial will follow in Hollywood cemetery.

Pallbearers are Howard F. "Mac" McKinley, Michael Joseph McKinley, Matthew Benjamin McKinley, David M. Kehtel, Preston Simmons and Tom McLemore.  Honorary pallbearers are Cole Simmons, Dudley Terrell, Steve Terrell, Mark Statham, Mike McCaskell, Jimmy Johnston, Stacy McCaskell, Jimmy Stone, Alton Stone, Tommy White, and Lan Pickle.
