Mrs. Mildred Alford Earl, 85, of Magnolia, MS passed from this life on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at her Maison Du Monde Living Center in Abbeville, LA.  She was born on March 6, 1934 in Magnolia, MS to Mr. Richard Alford and Mrs. Evelyn Rowell Alford.

Her family moved to New Orleans, LA where she married and had six children. She moved to Lafayette, LA in 1967 and resided there until her death. She loved gardening, her pets, her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Deborah Davies; one brother, Donald Alford and two sisters, Dorothy Alford and Shirley Pelaf.

Survivors are her daughter, Jennifer Kaye Flaharty and three sons, Thomas Earl, Harris Earl, Jr., David Earl; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A family gathering will be at Sharkey Funeral home in Summit, MS, on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM at McEwen Cemetery on Friday October 25, 2019. Rev. Mike Burns will officiate the service with Catchings - Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
