Mr. Mickey V. Morris Sr., 76, of Magnolia, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. He was born on January 15, 1950, in Pike County, MS to Bernell and Marietta Morris.

A visitation will be held at Unity Baptist Church on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeremy Greer officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at Magnolia Cemetery with Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mickey was a devoted member of Unity Baptist Church and a man of many talents. He enjoyed being a musician, carpenter, and painter, always finding joy in creating and working with his hands. Above all, Mickey treasured his family. He took great pride in being a father to his three sons and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was a caring and good-hearted man who touched the lives of everyone around him with his kindness, love, and generosity. His family was the greatest joy of his life, and the love he gave them will remain in their hearts and memories forever.

Mickey is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sarah Morris.

He is survived by his three sons, Mickey V. Morris Jr. (Travonda), Christopher L. Morris and Richard B. Morris (Raelyn) of McComb, MS; brother, Lester Morris (Diane); sisters, Brenda Shanks and Gail Smith; grandchildren, Masey, Nathaniel, Tabitha and Tyler Morris; and niece, Ester Hammond; and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name.
