Obituary

Mrs. Martha Reeves Dillon, 79, of Summit, MS, passed from this life on Friday, March 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Dillon was born in McComb, MS on January 19, 1944, and was the daughter of J.H. and Bessie Reeves. She was a member of Johnston Station Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a retired bank teller. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; special uncle & aunt, TG & Norma Cobb; and nephew, Cory Hart.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James Dillon; two daughters, Ginger. Lowhorn (John) of Summit, MS, and Kimberly D. Sisco (Eric) of Pueblo, CO; two grandchildren, Lyndsey Sisco of Pueblo, CO, and Joshua Sisco (Diana) of Canon City, CO; one great-grandchild, Tristen Sisco of Canon City, CO; one brother, Russell Reeves (Patsy); two sisters, Dorothy Duckworth (Jim), and Judy Planas (Owsald); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Russ Reeves, Jeffrey Reeves, Brantley Reeves, John Lowhorn, Jim Duckworth, and Keith Dillon.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 10AM until time of service at 12PM at Sharkey Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Bird officiating. A burial will follow in the Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery.
