Mr. Louis Clark Whitehead, 65, of Summit, MS, passed from this life on August, 23, 2019, at his residence.  He was born on November 10, 1953 in McComb, MS, to Robert and Lorraine Deer Whitehead. He was a member of Pisgah Methodist Church; worked for many years as an Amtrak Carman; and enjoyed fishing and football and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Joan Scott and brother- in- law, Bob Scott.

Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Jan Whitehead; sons, Corey Whitehead and Hayle of Summit and Rorey Whitehead and Carla of Summit; daughters, Wendy Weston and Scott of Romania, Mendy McKenzie of Picayune and Janna Calderone and Drew of Albany, LA; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS, from 9AM until Services at 11AM. Burial to follow in the Whittington Cemetery.
