Linda Ann Wheat Mills, 72, of Summit Mississippi, formerly of Bogalusa Louisiana, was

welcomed into the gates of Heaven on January 21, 2021.

She was a faithful and loyal servant of Jesus for over 50 years. She served New Hope Church of

God, where in 1982, she was named Lady of the Year. She was a prayer warrior; many came to

Her and asked her to go into prayer for them and with them, finding comfort in her prayers. She

was a loving Aunt to many,  but she devoted her life to her sister Pat's children, in which she

helped raise. She will be remembered as a smiling, kind, and Godly lady.

Welcoming her home to Heaven was her parents, Virgil Delancey and Maggie Lee Woodward,

her sisters, Virginia and Pat, her only brother, Lamar Delancey,  great-nephew Zeke Powell, and

nieces, Kim Delancey and Amber Hawk.

She is survived by her sisters children and their families, as she was a second mother and

grandmother to them; David Green (Nicole), William Hawk (Vanessa), Brian Bass (Paula), and

Chad Ard (Brittany); their children Joshua, Justin, Tyler, and Taylor Samford, William,

Jasamine,  and Branson Hawk, Austin and Emma-Leigh Bass, and Jace and Jayden Ard.

She is also survived by her loving church family and we ask in lieu of flowers that donations be

made in her name to her church Charis International Church of God @PO Box 534 McComb
