Linda E. Lee, 83 of Liberty, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Liberty Community Living Center. She was born Monday, June 2, 1941 in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12:00 at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit. Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in McComb. Rev. Rick Kennedy will officiate the services.

The Lee family will receive friends on Tuesday morning, March 4, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of service at 12:00 pm at Sharkey Funeral Home.

Linda was the beloved wife of nearly 50 years to Mr. Obed Lee. A devoted mother and grandmother, her grandchildren were the absolute joy of her life. Linda's warm spirit shone through in her many passions, from cheering on the Atlanta Braves and guessing prices on "The Price is Right," to enjoying the beauty of the outdoors and crafting intricate crocheted pieces. Her infectious zest for life was evident in her impromptu living room dance sessions to "The Twist," and her cherished mornings spent sharing breakfast with her family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Obed Lee; one Daughter, Renee Lee Sharp (Randy); her Father, Vernon McKee; and her Mother, Ela Burney McKee.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her Daughters, Sharen Lee Granger (Todd), of Bogue Chitto, Karen Lee Lewis (Ralph), of Spring, Texas; one Sister, Ruth McKee Crosby; six Grandchildren, Courtney L Creel, Rebecca Creel Garza (Oscar), Christy Kennedy Case (Justin), Jennifer Kennedy Barnes (Jacob), Ashley Sharp Prejean (Tony), Cameron Kennedy Gerald (Phillip); sixteen Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Mrs. Lee will be carried to her final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers; they include Courtney L Creel, Rebecca Creel Garza, Christy Kennedy Case, Jennifer Kennedy Barnes, Ashley Sharp Prejean, and Cameron Kennedy Gerald.
