Kaden Jace Reeves was born August 29, 2004 to Stacy Thomas and Jason Reeves. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew. Kaden passed from this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. at Terry's Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Terry's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Rick Kennedy and Bro. Trey Hess will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Kaden was an avid outdoorsman who spent every available moment in the woods, cutting trails, walking, and sitting on the creek bank just soaking up the sun and enjoying the nature. He delighted in the small things whether it be a flower bloom, a bird song or watching squirrels' scurry. He was a gentle soul who did no harm. A 2022 graduate of North Pike High School, Kaden graduated with honors and continued his education at Southwest Mississippi Community College where he served on the SMCC Band and Stage Band Crew, was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was a talented artist showing several pieces of his work. He would have graduated in May.

Kaden was twin to brother Kylen and while they may have been opposites, the bond between twins is strong. He was big brother to Jaylee' and while siblings' fuss and argue, the love between them was just as strong.

Kaden is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Abe Reeves.

Kaden is survived by his mother, Stacy Thomas and Father, Jason Reeves (Christy), his twin brother Kylen, sister Jaylee, maternal grandparents PawPaw Melvin and MawMaw Judy Thomas and paternal grandmother MawMaw Dot Reeves, who he lived with the past two years. He was a tremendous help and companion to MawMaw Dot, spending countless hours working in the garden and doing yard work with her. He was a special nephew to Uncle Keith Thomas, Uncle Nathan and Aunt Tammy Wells who consider him and his siblings, their "Bonus Babies". He also had a special bond with cousins Mark and Julie Kennedy who took on an honorary role as "bonus aunt and uncle". Cousins and bonus siblings include Brooke Wells, Taylor Wells, Jonathan Wells and Kelsey Thomas.

In times of sorrow, tragedy and things we just don't understand, we must cling to our Heavenly Father who sustains us and comforts us until we are reunited again.
