J.P. Mary, 35, of McComb, passed away, Friday August 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 20, 1981in New Orleans. He was the son of Joseph Niel and Sherry LeBlanc Mary of Fernwood. He was a retired installer for Remetronix Medical Equipment. He was an avid LSU fan and was a proud member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation "TAF " and held football season tickets for many years. JP Mary cannot simply be described in a few paragraphs. To truly know him would change your life, if he loved you then he loved you with the heart of a lion. He was naturally a protector of the ones he loved. He was a proud LSU TAF Member and held the 3rd row on the 40 yd line down each football season! He was never happier than when he was inside Tiger Stadium with his closest friends, taunting the opposing team, screaming obscene things to throw them off guard! JP was also known to hit harder than a loaded freight train coming in an hour late to the station (those who know him will know what that means)! He was quite possibly the greatest story teller of all time, to hear his stories meant you had to watch his hands fly, hear his laughter, and he made you feel like you were in the moment with him. If you ever received one of his hugs then you'll never forget how amazing they were! He was known for being a master of the grill, and known from here to LSU for his famous dirty rice and Mexican cornbread! He was a proud father to his Shar-Pei, Rolls Royce, who passed away 2 years ago. We know that Royce was waiting for him on the other side wagging his tail as he stands beside JP's brother the late and great Joseph Mary and their beloved Mimi, Florence Mary. He is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph "Joe" Mary; his paternal grandparents, Berchman J. and Florence F. Mary and his four legged child, Rolls Royce. JP will continue to live on through his parents, sister, Jennifer (you were always his angel), best friends, Derek Jones and Haley "Gazelle" Morris. He is also survived by close friends, Frank Coleman, Katie Fry, Elizabeth "Kitty" Holmes, Jamie and Brittni Carroll, Craig, Virginia Smith, April Didon and last but not least, his "little buddy" Bryson Lambert. Bryson you will never know what you meant to JP and how proud of you he was, he will always be watching over you. Visitation is Friday at Sharkey Funeral Home, 1023 Old Brookhaven Road, Summit, MS 39666 from 5PM until memorial services at 7PM. Share condolences at catchingsfuneralhome.com
