Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph "Joey" Little, who left us on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his home.

Joey was a man who truly lived life on his own terms. Whether on the pool table, where he was known for his unwavering positivity and determination, or in his personal life, where he forged lasting friendships with those lucky enough to know him, Joey left a mark on every person he encountered. His love for the game of pool was more than just a hobby—it was a way for him to connect with others, share laughter, and offer a steady hand of encouragement.

Despite the challenges life presented him, Joey always found a way to keep going. His resilience and optimism in the face of adversity were an inspiration to all who knew him. He believed that every setback was just another opportunity to grow, and his strength in this belief was evident to those around him.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fay McNemor of Smithdale, MS, and his father, Benny Braddock of Columbia, LA. His family and friends take comfort in knowing he is at peace, reunited with those he loved.

Joey leaves behind his stepmother, Jimmy Braddock; his stepsister, Chrystal Braddock; and his half-brother, Jackie Albritton. He will be deeply missed by them, and by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the home of Troy McNemor, where we will gather to honor Joey's spirit and cherish the memories he gave us. Refreshments will be provided.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, LA, where we will lay him to rest.

Though Joey is no longer with us, his legacy of kindness, laughter, and resilience will remain in our hearts. He was a friend, a brother, and a soul who brightened the lives of everyone he met. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
