Mrs. Joan "Sweet Pea" Elizabeth Fruge', 78, of Magnolia, MS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 2, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Joan was born in Childersburg, AL on December 24, 1942 and was the daughter of Archie Norris and Georgia Ruby Austin May. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McComb, MS. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping and collecting jewelry. She was VERY active in The Osyka Auction House where she made many friends. She had a love for butterflies and hummingbirds. She loved to go Flea Market shopping for antiques. She loved her family and cherished her time spent with them and especially loved her grandbabies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 7 years, Kent James Fruge' and her twin sister, Joyce Norris.

She is survived by two sons, Greg Knight of St. Rose, LA and Jeff Knight and Jennifer of St. Rose, LA; one daughter, Deborah Ougel and Louis of Magnolia, MS; one sister, Jeanette Hammer and Carl of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Louis Ougel, Jr., Raymond Ougel and Cindy, Rebecca Dardar and Arlen, Scott Stephens, Jr., Austin Knight and Brooke Knight; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kasandra, Kellie, Lexie, Brandon and Blake; three great-great-grandchildren, Emma Rose, Joshua, Jr. and Noah, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 3PM at Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, MS with Dr. Rick Edmonds officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
