Jefferson Matthew Irland, 55 of Summit, MS passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at his residence in Summit, MS. He was born Friday, July 19, 1968 in Daytona, Florida.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Summit. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Summit. Rev. Harry Johnson will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his spouse, Bethany Reed Irland of Summit, MS; son, Jacob Gill; daughters, Kailey Carlisle; Cheyenne Irland, Bridgette Irland, Brooke Irland; father, James Maxwell Irland, Jr. (Gay); mother, Jeweldean Harris Roberts (James); brothers, James Irland (Peggy), Judd Irland and Will Roberts (Rebecca); sisters, Jennifer Gholson (Carter) and Christie Weidemann (Randy) and grandson, Tatum Gill.

Special music will be performed by Rebecca Roberts, Steven Pepper, and Christy Delaney.
