She was a faithful member of East McComb Baptist Church and later, New Heights Baptist Church, serving on numerous committees for many years. A lifelong resident of East McComb, Mrs. Moak was instrumental in organizing the Christmas Celebrations and the lighting of the Azaleas that were viewed by numerous area residents as they drove down Pearl River Avenue in the 1960s and early 1970s. Mrs. Moak and her husband retired to Bogue Chitto, MS, in later years. A devout Christian, Mrs. Moak will be remembered for her love of her family, especially her two children, her fun loving ways and her infectious smile. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifton T. Moak; her daughter, Diane Moak Stewart; one sister, Ada Lyons; two brothers, Joseph and David McCollough. She is survived by one son, David C. Moak, of Bogue Chitto, a very special friend, Janet Stewart of McComb, and a host of nieces and nephews.
