Mr. Jasper "Buddy" Westbrook, 66, of Smithdale, MS passed from this life on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Courtyard Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He was born on March 8, 1956.

Buddy was well known in the community and would be seen walking on a daily basis until his health would no longer allow him to. In his later years, certain members of the community helped to look out for his well-being and make sure he was being taken care of. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, beginning at 9AM until 11AM at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Smithdale, MS. A graveside service will follow immediately at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Eric Moak officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
