Mr. Jason Todd Pine, 35, of Summit, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Poplarville, MS.

He was born in McComb, MS on May 18, 1986 and was the son of Greg Pine and Cassie Howard. He was a wonderful musician and played guitar. He had a love for music. He enjoyed woodwork and carpentry.  He was a loving dad and enjoyed his time spent with his sons, family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death his grandfather, Alfred Pine, and step-grandfather, Larry Pannell, and his infant son, Brentley Hilton Pine.

He is survived by his father, Greg Pine and Melissa of Summit, MS; his mother, Cassie Howard of McComb, MS; two sons, Landon Todd Pine and Nicholas Shane Pine of Summit, MS; one brother, Dustin Pine of Summit, MS; three sisters, Brittiany Pine of Spring Hill, FL, Jennifer Barnidge and Shane of Pearl, MS, and BriAnna Jordan of Summit, MS; his grandmother, Maxine Pannell; step grandparents, Jackie and Gwen Boyd, and Jimmy Rhodus; a special aunt, Sharon Pine, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Christopher "Flicker" Holmes, Josh Wells, John Harrell, Ramsey Thornton, Jonathan Whittington, and Joshua "Petey" Plaisance.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5PM until 7PM and continue on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS with Bro. Brandon Tarver officiating. A burial will follow in the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church at Carter's Creek Cemetery.
