Horace "Hal" Pezant, 85, of Summit, MS, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Southwest MS Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.

Horace was born December 27, 1937 in Magnolia, MS.  He served & retired from the U S Air Force, then later retired from the U S Postal Service.  He was a member and former president of the Mississippi Gem & Mineral Society.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Pezant;  mother, Eliza Rhodus Pezant;  sister, Johnnie Jackson;  brothers, Paul Pezant and  Robert Pezant.

Survivors include his wife, Hideko Pezant of Summit, MS; daughters, Diana Chadwick of McComb, MS and Linda Spears of Summit, MS, one Sister Bobbie Brashear, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
