Mr. Harry William Oswell, Jr., 87, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at The Claiborne with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 24, 1934  in West Monroe, LA, to Harry William Oswell, Sr. and Letha Savilla Felder Oswell.

He enjoyed many outdoor activities including riding his motorcycle, boating and skiing, and shooting sports. He also enjoyed spending time growing a vegetable garden. He was an avid reader. Mr. Harry served in the U.S. Army after being drafted. After coming home, he continued his service in the National Guard. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Ruth Boone Owen; and one brother, James Monroe Boone.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Sharon Oswell; one son, William Harley Oswell; one grandson, Dylan Dunaway; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 beginning at 12PM until time of memorial service at 2PM at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit.Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Walters, Stanley Richardson, Robert LeMaster, Andy Richardson, Jay Carona, and Joey Carona.
