Hance Edward "Eddie" Westmoreland, Jr., 56 of Summit, MS passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at his residence in Summit, MS. He was born Saturday, June 3, 1967 in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church, 3085 Old Brookhaven Road, Summit, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church in Summit, MS. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Pentecostal Cemetery in Summit, MS. Rev. Harry Johnson will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eddie was an avid gardener and loved to hunt, fish, and enjoyed woodworking.  In his spare time he enjoyed his grand dogs, Rhetta and Tucker.  When anything was needed, Eddie would go out of his way to help; he loved his church and was a very active member.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Tonya Westmoreland; father, Hance Westmoreland, Sr.; mother, Carol "Sue" Anderson Westmoreland.

Survivors include his daughter, Brooklyn Westmoreland of Summit, MS; sister, Teresa Dugas (Brian).

Pallbearers will be Chris Oliver, David Jones, Will Jones, Stephen Pepper, Mike Davis, and Shelby White.

Special music will be performed by Elliott Rutland, Jocelyn Rutland, Connor Oliver, Joshua Johnson, and Ashton Oliver.
