Gill Andrew Prestridge, 65, of Summit, MS, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at King`s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS. He was born in McComb, MS, on January 18, 1960, to Ralph D. Prestridge, Jr. & Ida Jean Moak Prestridge.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS. Bro. Bert Sasser will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gill was a man who seemed to know everyone and was known by everyone. His work in several hardware stores allowed him to meet lots of people, and he enjoyed helping them all! He liked listening to country music and classic rock with Meat Loaf being a favorite. He loved hunting and fishing and thoroughly enjoyed all things outdoors. It was a part of who he was.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary D. Prestridge.

Survivors include his son, Theron A. Prestridge, of Summit, MS; sister, Sandra P. Brumfield (Roger) of the Arlington Community; a handful of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Rob Radcliffe, Bobby Wallace, Kenny Wallace, Steve Wallace, Brad Wells, and Steve Winborne.
