Georgia L. Dunaway, 87, of Pricedale, passed away, Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born February 22, 1931 in Pike County. She was the daughter of Julius and Ruby Rowell Dunaway.She was a lifelong member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church at Carter's Creek. She was retired from Kellwood Company with 42 years of service and served as a hostess for many years with Catchings Funeral Home in McComb. Ms. Georgia was a very soft spoken lady that enjoyed being around people. She loved being outdoors and most of the time, could be found with her wide brim hat mowing her yard, working with her flowers, and, she loved growing a garden every year.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her only sibling, Margaret Dunaway.

She is survived by numerous cousins including Craig and Stephanie Rowell, Brett and Bethany Rowell and Blake and Kaley Rowell, all of Pricedale.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church at Carter's Creek from 9AM until services at 10AM with Rev. Justin Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in McEwen cemetery under the direction of Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit.

Pallbearers are Craig Rowell, Brett Rowell, Blake Rowell, Reese Paulk, Clark Brady and Clay DuncanIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Bogue Chitto Baptist Church at Carter's Creek, 2146 Boyd Reeves Road, Tylertown, MS 39667.
