Obituary for Mr. George Clarence Ard

Mr. George Clarence Ard, 95, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on March 29, 2021 at McComb Nursing and Rehab. He was born on October 3, 1925 in Clinton, LA to Mr. Louis Ard and Mrs. Katie Cook Ard.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and one grandchild, Carey Walker.

Survivors are his wife of 70 years, Sara Belle Ferguson Ard, two daughters, Pattie Arnold and husband, Charles, Linda Ryder and husband Kyle; two sons, Jeff Ard and wife, Patricia, Mark Ard and wife, Debbie; six grandchildren, Mark Ard and wife, Staci, Lisa Blanchard and husband, Brett, Janelle Haynsworth and husband, James, Newton Ernest Cannon and wife, Jessica, Valerie Hall and husband, Tristan along with eleven great grandchildren.

A private graveside services will be will be on Friday, April 2, 2021 in St. Francisville, LA.  James Turner will be officiating the services, with Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
